It’s time for a change.
A change as God wants it to happen.
It is not about this “I want to change everything” as people who are still lost sometimes say it. Because they realize subconciously that something is wrong with this world.
If we change just because of the fascination of change itself, we just change our idols. And idols don’t have the power to make us happy in the long run. Their blinding light fades away soon.
God instead had made his decision, how he wanted to change the world after it’s fall, very early:
God wanted to give grace to his fallen creation. He did this through Jesus Christ!
He revealed himself as the good father of his children.
If You bring all Your sins to the cross of Jesus and trust your good heavenly father about everything he has for You, Your transformation begins …
When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay? But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay. For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth. Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand. We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
